Please welcome aboard the new director of Eastside Volleyball Academy, Garry Currier. Garry comes to EVA from Southern CA and has a strong background in volleyball. He is also the new head coach at Bellevue High School.
EVA is sad to say goodbye to its founder, Andrew McAllister. We wish him the best of luck at his new position as Assistant Women’s VB Coach at Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC. Andrew will also be the head coach of the men’s program, and is tasked with getting that program off the ground. He will be staying on as an administrator and Bboard member and consultant.
“EVA will always hold a special place in my heart. Together with the help and courage of Bill & Peggy Hughes, this was able to happen. It was a great 5 years, and my family and I are sad to be leaving our EVA family. However I know the club is in great hands, as most of the staff still remain. I have all the confidence in Garry to take EVA to heights not seen!” Andrew also wishes to extend a very special thank you to Janet Anders for all of her hard work, dedication and friendship that helped EVA thrive. Her leadership will also be missed!
